New Zealand
The question that begs to be answered by many is, why travel all the way to an isolated small island? New Zealand undoubtedly has attracted great numbers of tourist from all over the world; many of its tourists though coming from Great Britain its former colonizer, have made tourism the main sector of the economy. That is not say that everyone comes to tour, they’re many that migrate to New Zealand in search of greener pastures, and they come from all corners of the world, Europe, Asia mainly the Indians and the Chinese, Africa and America.
Like any other part of the world, the diverse cultures have brought racial tensions, but nothing to be compared to other parts of the world, as a matter of fact it can be said that the racial tolerance have being well managed; many of its inhabitants are European origin, though born in New Zealand. Maori are considered to be the original inhabitants of the island. For those that speak English they would find it easy to make their way around as virtually everyone speaks English as it is the official language besides Maori.
New Zealand though a small pacific island has very fascinating characteristics that include tropical forests, volcanic plateaus, amazing mountains and sandy beaches. Many who have visited New Zealand would certainly agree that it has mysteries that are just waiting to be revealed. For those that love birds, you will find a great variety of them that you would not find anywhere in the world –the flightless birds, the popular Kiwi.
To those that would still ask the question why travel all the way to New Zealand? The answers are as many as the stars. If you haven’t been there you need to, if you have been there you can bear witness to others and persuade them to make a once in a lifetime trip.
